WHO IS CANTERBURY MANUFACTURED HOMES?
We are a small, family owned company based in Chico, California. Steve Canterbury is the Managing Partner with a background in Real Estate from owning a Coldwell Banker Real Estate Office to Land Development and Commercial Office Development. Steve’s father, Tom Canterbury (recently deceased), designed and built the first Mobile Home Condominium Park in the State of California (Eden Roc Estates, Paradise, CA).
In recent years, Steve has been involved in Manufactured Home Sales not only as a developer placing and selling them in a subdivision, but also an owner and operator of a Fuqua Homes Dealership in Chico. Having sold his interest in the Fuqua Dealership, he spent some time in Fort Bragg in Manufactured Homes Sales. Canterbury Manufactured Homes has been around for since 1994 specializing in Park Models and High Quality Cottages (single section manufactured homes designed primarily for placement in backyards as a 2nd home for Mom, rental, or whatever).
 We found a need for a full line of manufactured homes for Park Owners and homeowners who don’t want to pay retail for their homes. Our low overhead allows us to offer discount pricing without sacrificing quality. Our philosophy is to make a little profit on a lot of homes, rather than make a lot on a few. Additionally, all of the options you select are at our cost!

Most of our homes are sold for placement in Mobile Home Parks, but they can be placed on private property as well. The key to a successful private property installation is a knowledgeable set-up contractor in your area, who knows local building rules and regulations. We do not have a construction department, but we can assist you in finding a contractor in your area.
